Memorial Fund for Grizz.. for those who would like to make a donation

I still dont feel like accepting it yet.. My habbit for the last several months was to log on here and first thing was to start reviewing threads. First guy's posts I'd look for were Grizz's... Lol. The shit that man would say.

Now.. The first thing I look for is posts about Grizz. And pretty soon, those will stop too. Life will go on like it always does. People will come and go and eventually Grizz will be occassionally mentioned in a remember when thread and that will be that. And that makes me sad.. Not that I'm advocating that we all sit around and mire ourselves in grief and self pitty.. Im just, rambling I guess. Just jumbled up thoughts I guess.

RIP buddy..

I feel the same way. We will remember him Brother. but as much as we hurt and miss him......life will go on.
That said, this huge is Phreeze, it's not going to go away quickly. I don't want it to go away

I do not post much but I admired Grizz's strait-foward approach to discussions, he rarely minced words, an admirable quality. I pray that his family and friends find peace and understanding in a time like this. Remember all the positive Grizz did and not the negatives!

I knew Grizz from a few other boards as well, and i'm absolutely
shocked I only noticed this now!........this is terrible !

For his Family and friends and huge number of friends on the www I will pray for all of you to get through these most challenging and difficult times as best as you possible can!

A very helpful , good person he was, that will never be forgotten!
I will also make a donation as much as I can to help

how much longer will it be open?? I've been super tight on cash, and have felt like shit because I couldn't spare even a meager $20 bucks in the given time frame. but, that's just how things work sometimes I guess.

I've been super busy and haven't talked to Randy in a couple of days. Money is still coming in... the original thought was that it would stay open for as long as money was coming in. There are a couple of other guys that really want to be able to donate before it's closed.

Being sober he would pm me and we had fun going back and forth about recovery issues lol, he cracked me up and was fun to mess with each other.

Grizz was a great guy. I enjoyed his input on politics over the years as he called it like he saw it. My condolences to his family and everyone here on OLM who knew him personally. Phreezer, you could keep his memory alive with a section dedicated to him.

yes, another sponsor on a different board is adding to the donations...this should bring the total to nearly 3700 now!!!

It's a pretty sizable donation coming from the other board sponsor. He insisted on mailing it in, that's what's taking so long. Should be here by Friday.

I'm sure we all feel that Grizz [Jeff] deserves every effort. So Randy's holding out for this last donation before he sends the funds. Jeff's family is being kept up to date as well. They, of course, don't know us or expect much, but they are grateful for the love and support.

fuck man. Reading what she said made my eyes well up again. Hopefully it's a pleasant surprise when they receive the donations, and it takes a good chunk of the financial burden off of them, they've been through enough...
