No one has posted here in over a year. Was thinking about "The good old days" Miss that big bear a ton. You know when you lose a friend I have mixed feelings, part of me wants to keep him alive in our memories, and part of me says time heals all wounds.
If he had survived the one fucked up shot, he'd probably still be here.

I still check in here from time to time, mostly just to see what the dummies in the general discussion are talking about. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since Grizz was around. He was a cool guy, actually gave me some personal advice when I was young and fucking stupid. Now I feel Iike an old man compared to then.
Anyway, RIP Griz. You’re not forgotten.

man, this is sad news. i haven't been on here in a while. this hit close. my friend was found dead in his home last Monday.

What made it good is he was rather well spoken and would make some very good points
$3,100!!! I also planted two orange trees - one in San Antonio and another in the Hill Country Natural Area within a few weeks of his death. The one in SA had grown to at least 8’ the last time I saw it. I haven’t seen the one in the state park since the day I planted it.
Attached is a pic of the two of us in an Alabama bar about a month before he died.
Anyway. I still miss this big bastard.
