Cutter / Contest Diet or lean bulker

Just don't get to crazy with the cardio at first, Men for the most part burn fat faster than women because IN MOST CASES we carry more lean muscle. 3xwk 20-30 min to start is good then go up from there as the diet really kicks in. The goal is to burn fat and spare as much muscle as possible not just lose weight.
And no your not highjacking so good luck and remember it's all about discipline and will power. If you have a bad day and get side tracked a little don't worry just get back on track, a day or 2 now and then won't ruin your diet but a week or 2 will....................11

yeah after the 3rd week i will up my cardio to 4 times/week. But i will let you know how its all going i appreciate it man.

What are some of your guys favorite meals to eat on this type of diet totaling 500-600 cals each?

I just started today, and I'm tracking my meals on an app but I swear I have yet to get a diet down.

I'm Simple, so I'm trying to find 3-4 meals that I can repeat and only have to worry about cutting the carb Portion every 3 weeks. Plus it saves on my grocery bill.

M-F -30min am treadmill
T/th/sat- weights
M/w- tabata pm

Breakfast for me when I'm on this is usually egg whites, oatmeal/cream of wheat and then a fat source either 2 egg yokes or mostly I add olive oil blended in my eggs or in water I make oatmeal with. some times I'll dice lean steak in the egg whites and scramble together, in this case the steak will have the fat I need. Sometimes I will put eggs/steak in corn tortillas

2nd meal is usually a combo of the same. or a shake

2-3 meals will be shakes with proper ratios of pro/carb/fat

later meals will be chicken, fish, beef potato, brown rice etc and a fat source depending on what protein I eat.
My last meal will always be within an hour of bed.

Just get creative so meals don't get boring, at the end that will be harder but you'll be surprised what you can do.
Also try and keep each meal as equal as you can in Pro/Carbs/Fat ratios.
Just remember to keep protein and fat the same all the way thru the diet.................11

If followed it works great. I see to many BBers cut there cals way to low way to early. You have to eat to lose body fat but it has to be proper ratios of Pro/Carbs/Fat......................11

I have to say...I followed this template and have been doing great. I've always like cutting w/ carbs and cardio so figured this was worth trying.

I started about 18 weeks out (now just under 10 weeks out) because I was a bit fatter than I wanted to be lol. Running this down to 3 weeks out and then will figure it out from there based on my conditioning.

I went from 248 17% down to 225 10% in about 8 weeks. I also had a 3-day run of way too many carbs and that had zero negative effects on me. I've actually been noticeably vascular since that happened. I have tons of quad veins for the first time in YEARS.

I ran the following for the first part (and started before the diet) and will continue until I'm 7 weeks out:

Test E: 250mg/wk
EQ: 600mg/wk
Tren E: 400mg/wk

Last 7 weeks I'll be running a Cut Mix/Var/EQ along w/ the diet/cardio to get me tightened up for the show.

If it matters, I'm a blast and cruise guy.

What are some good meals for this program to work? I'm getting a little bored and could use a wider range of meals.

One big meal or six small ones ... all the same

Look at sonny schmidt

Its all about the carbs

Have to disagree, 5-6 meals are always better. Your body can absorb and break down the nutrients better plus it speeds up your metabolism. Also if your an athlete you need to eat within an hour of bed so your body has the nutrients for repair, your body also burns about 200 cals going this. I eat 6 x day whether Im cutting or not..................11

Some good info in this post. Gotta admit, i need to lock my diet in, and this has motivated me to do so. I dont eat like shit by any means, eggs, chicken breast, ground turkey and the occasional steak for my proteins. Fresh veggies, salads and avacados for sides and whole wheat pasta, brown rice and oatmeal for carbs, though lately a friend had me on an almost no carb diet... gave it a shot, not liking it. Ive never really took the time to follow to closly to macros etc. Thats all gonna change now though..lol. thanks for the read.

Great plan, but I need help!

What does a day on this plan look like?

How do you get 50 grams of protein, 50 grams of carbs, and 11 grams of fat and stay at 500 calories per meal. I am using the app my fitness pal or lose it and I can't get near those numbers.

It's actually better to eat less meals per day then frequently eating. There is no boost in metabolism when eating 6+ meals a day..

Really? It only makes sense that when you eat less and more frequently that your body doesn't have a need to store the fuel for use later.

Oh I'm sorry, I thought this was the nutrition forum where you ask nutritional questions and discuss nutrition. Looking forward to some help from someone like Eleven11 or others that would actually be helpful other than wasteful one liners about nothing.
