Stay off the scales

I am reading more and more posts about guys trying to cut and not losing much weight. Most people who are cutting are trying to maintain or gain a few extra lbs. of lean mass while losing the fat. If you base your success on the scales alone, you will defeat yourself mentally, and possibly give up.

Use the mirror. If you see the seperation, striations and vascularity appearing, you are getting what you want. You'll notice in your clothes as well. When you get to the desired look, THEN weigh yourself. This will give you a target weight, so to speak, for the next cutter you do.

Scales can deflate people. They are good if you are grossly overweight and trying to lose, or trying to beef up.
