Damn these front squats!!

someone please remind me why I am doing these damn things. today the lower back pumps were damn near crippling.

Because one day a wk you want to hit the regular parallel sqauts,e.g. Mondays. Then on Fridays hit a front squat or box squat or an oly squat.The other sqauts is what helps you break through plateus in strength and size.The squats should be one of the CORE exercises of your lift program.Break down the volumn just a lil' and increase the frequency of how many times a week you work each body part and watch your self grow,with or w/out juice.
After I squat 5x5's on parallel or another variation I immediately superset after the fifth set, by doing one legged squats or leg extensions with very light weight and many reps till I hit failure.Once I hit failure, I stop that body part and do not do it again.Works good for me,had real good development.You don't have to reach failure on every set you do when working out.Maintain good form and feel for the pump in the muscles.
