It's very risky to get it now, Bitcoin has lost around 85% of its value this year and has been decreasing steadily for the past month or so, with daily losses. I bought a few thousand worth back in early November and its worth less then half right now, I wasn't even trying to make money just for a future cycle.

Bitcoin is fine for what you want to use it for.
Who cares if it tanked 85% this year if you just use to pay for something.
Buy what you need to pay for what you need. For that it works.

So only buy the amount you need for your next transaction.

I Use Coin Base to buy and send, very convenient and most places give you discounts for using it.

Cashapp has considerably lower fees than coinbase. You cannot recieve bitcoin to cashapp but you can very easily buy and send it. And if you buy too much they will purchase it back waaaaay cheaper than coinbase. My advice to anyone using Coinbase would be to uninstall Coinbase and use Cashapp.

"CASH APP" is G2G Very user friendly when your just buying and sending not necessarily investing. The company behind this app is https://squareup.com/ and they have a solid reputation !

The only problem with this is it takes over a week to purchase from a bank account. You will lose money over that time if the tanking continues. I bought $250 worth over the summer and actually MADE $90 on it before it posted...but it tanked right after that. (I had already made my purchase and pulled the $90 out)

If I'm understanding your complaint correctly, then you're using the wrong service. Look into Gemini.

I transfer my money from my account to the bitcoin market, then when it's available I instantly purchase what I need, transfer it, and done. I never deal with any market swings. All in all, I've got maybe a minute or less invested into it.

This. I know many sources now IMMEDIATELY sell any BTC they get for $ as the market is just so unpredictable right now. You should use your BTC basically the same way.

Got it. I used coinbase and this was the first and only time Iíd used it. I was happy to make out $90 ahead but after seeing it tank, I realized I could have lost half my money in the same week. Iíd use it no problem if it was instant...will look into your recommendation next time.

Not with coinbase. Takes minutes.

My coinbase account used to work like that and it was great, I could do it in a matter of minutes. Now itís about a week until Iím able to use it for some reason.

Good question - I actually use another (cold storage) wallet to funnel payments through. It costs an extra few bucks, and I'm sure you can do just fine without it.

I do it to avoid any complications with Gemini. When I was using Coinbase, they banned me over a 'suspicious' transfer.

It does not matter what the price of bitcoin is. You buy and use as you need. Most places give you another 5% discount and its so much faster. I would never use money gram again. Fees are very minimal. I use COIN BASE, super fast and convenient.
