TRT schedule with Anastrozole

. Doc put me on 300 mg Test Cyp indefinitely, and also wants me to take anastrozle twice a week. I’ve heard and read different opinions on the Anastrozole .
What the issue with anastrozle for you?
What is the dose he is putting you on?
300mg of test a week is a high dose and will probably require an estrogen blocker of some sort.
On 200mg a week I take .5 to 1mg of anastrozole a week.

This is my first time on TRT , and because my natural test level was only 160. He chose to put me on 300 mg of cyp per week with anastrozle. I’ve never taken it , that’s why I was asking what should I expect as far as sides if any long term. Thanks Morgan

That's a ridiculous dose he put you on to start off with. If you subq every other day or three times a week it and only use between 150 and 200 you probably won't even need an AI. You might not even need it if you go intramuscular with the lower dose. Try to do whatever you can to stay completely away from an AI
Its a very high dose for TRT, especially as a starting dose.

He said with my blood work that’s the dose he recommended me to start with. I have to do blood work again in 2 months … he said he would adjust accordingly if needed.

Of course I’ve never done TRT. I thought the dose was low. But that shows my ignorance. I have a friend that is prescribed 400 mg per week of cyp.

Hell no that's not low for trt I know alot of guys are using only 100 mg a week with test level around 700 to 900 . I use 175 -200 and that's considered fairly high I've been on that for 4 years I'm 6"3 and fluctuate between 265 and 285 depending whether I'm cruising or blasting. Start low and increase if needed not the opposite

MK do you just take the Adex just 1 time a week or do you break them up into little pieces and take them throughout the week?

I spread aromtise inhibitors out like i do shots. Try to minimize the peaks and troughs.

I'm extremely anal about my TRT dosing schedule. I take 80mg test cyp Monday morning, 0.25mg anastrozole Tuesday night, 100mcg gonadorelin Wednesday morning, 80mg test cyp Thursday night, 100mcg gonadorelin Saturday night. I've been following this for several years, so I don't even have to think about it. Lab work is done quarterly ALWAYS on Monday mornings before my normal injection.
Following this has allowed me to know exactly what needs to be adjusted, if at all. This has kept my test around 1100, E2 is around 40, and the gonadorelin keeps my testicles full and functioning. I'm sure being this meticulous is unnecessary, but it keeps me feeling great, the doc continues writing my script, and the rest of my blood work is excellent.
