I've always gone to the gym every other day and trained every muscle head to toe on those days. my friends insist I split them up, but I hit 10lb pr's every other workout. thoughts?

Everybody's different. What works for me might not work for you. Ive seen a lot of guys who workout in groups. They all do the same exact thing. One will look good while the others look like shit. Do what works for you

If it works it works. But you should definitely experiment with a different training split at some point. It may give you 20+ pound PRs. Won’t know until you try. And you have nothing to lose.

Try Dogg Crapp sometime. I did it while running deca. Made some good progress doing DC training

DC is the bomb
The basic blueprint of it has influenced my training heavily for 10 years now

I do a 4 on 3 off routine

basically crush it Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday then OFF Friday Saturday Sunday

then repeat

been doing that for years

works great

that sounds similar to what I've been doing recently. I kill myself all week, recover over the weekend, get pr's on Monday. rinse and repeat. while recovering, my eating can get out of control. if I'm not careful with my carbs, ill add on to the 'ol beer keg on my belly.

I've had big calves for years because I was 350lb in high school. I cut down to discover sexy calves. but the first time I took the time to train them by rotating my feet to hit different heads i woke up the next morning unable to extend my legs🤣
