Ya its good stuff. I wouldnt use it as my primary work out for chest though. USe it after other chest press or if the tris are worke in the same day I let it be the first tri exercise.

It's a great exercise, can be a little rough on the shoulders. With close grips it's easy to cheat and flare out the arms, which takes the tri's out to some extent. Reverse grips force your arms close to your torso or you'll end up with the weight on your face. Make sure you've got a hand off guy you trust, he'll have to swing it out further than a regular bench hand off. Use your normal bench grip width and touch the very bottom of your pecs. Anthony Clark benched 780 like this, with a bench shirt.

i like these, just make sure ya got a solid grip on that bar, otherwise you'll look like a hockey player. ;)

Good exercise but is very bad on the wrists. Always use a spotter, especially since lifting the bar off the rack can be very difficult due to the positioning of your hands.

I shy away from these cuz i always feel im gonna drop the bar on my neck or face...always use a spotter when doing these.

waste of time imo, stick with close grip and dips for tris, no need to reinvent the wheel

Agreed....close grips and dips are the way to go....seen too many guys injure themselves doing reverse grips.

I also would prefer close grip bench, but the reverse grip is good for something different--typically if i do them i'll do em on a smith mach, that way i don't end up w/ the hockey smile, as mentioned above :D
