Potential COPD

I figure that I already know that answer. Throughout the waking hours, I have no breathing issues at all. When I go to bed and lay on my back (I'm still fully awake), I believe that I'm going to suffocate. Now, if I lay on either side or on my stomach, I breathe perfectly. Its not sleep apnea, I've been down that road before. Sound familiar anyone?

Thanks, TenMan

Do you have any current lung or heart conditions. Sounds like orthopnea. Probably not COPD since it has something to do with blood volume and not breathing. You should schedule an appointment to rule out any potential. congestive heart failure issues

This is something to see a doctor about.
