Long Slin

I've been using fast slin (lispro) at 7 units with a HBCD shake lately and I was wondering how I would go about using a slower insulin like glargine. Would it even be worth buying?

Nowadays, I usually just use Humulin-R. However I have used Lantus in the past and it wasn't bad. If you do decide, I would start with 15iu a day and work your way up if you feel you need it. It's pretty safe since it is so slow acting.
