just got ok from doc to start lifting after surgery ( 6wks) going to start light for a wk or 2. should be where i was in a month or 2 and then i'll start my cycle.

just make sure that you take it easy and are smart about it, i think i tried to do too much too soon and I might have a slight incisional hernia, but hopefully i am just paranoid, might swing by the doc tomorrow

i had a inguinal hernia and a umbilical hernia.
did some light bench and inclines, shrughs, press and side lats, close grip bench and rope push downs.
going to do light leg ext and leg press, leg curls, calfs, lat pulldowns and seated rows, curls and dumbell curls, wrist curls today.

Don't know what type I have, my Doc just gave me a referal to the surgeon who I'll meet on Dec 2 and then he,ll schulde the surgery
How long were you guys laid up and how bad did it hurt?
Shit I avoided the knife all through my first 38 years and now this

Yesss. First Day back got the ok from my doctor last Thursday.Started with just bi's today, cardio, and Abs and what a releif no Pain in abb region I was so afraid of not feeling the way i was before surgery bu I'am stoked. Next test back tomorrow

back to liftin the same weight i was when i left off. get like a burning pain by incision, doc said it's just the screen, might take a yr to go away, told me to try celebrex, at 400mg now and feels good,

I had the same hernia not sure of the same operation they opened me wide up, i was back after 4 weeks real slow for 4 weeks then balls out, that was 2 years ago, i do have some trouble now some swelling when i lift heavy and don't get enough rest, may want to start wearing a belt if you haven't in the past, i only wear it when i go really heavy.

Heres what mine looked like, they tore me up
