Like I said haven’t had any issue over the last 6-7 months buying the ReLion brand of Novolog. Very well could be pharmacy error if not for the fact that I’ve had people in multiple different states be able to purchase the pens without issue. Your best bet is to try it. I usually preorder it online for pickup and just go in and get it, less convo with a pharmacy tech is always a good thing.

Seems like it might be store to store or maybe they just don’t know what they are doing. I guess all you can do is try and worst case just use the novolin version and do it intramuscular . Obviously that is for people who have used insulin before and are familiar with its effects and what going hypo “feels” like and how to effectively combat it.

Worked in a pharmacy for about 13 years and unless its changed in last 3 or 4 this is all we could dispense.
