Any vets with experience running this with high hgh to control blood sugars? i picked up some GlucoVantage on a recommendation, which is 200mg of dihydroberberine ( supposedly better then regular ). I take 1 tab about 10 minutes before my last meal of the day & had to drop it due to sever stomach issues after only a week, felt like i was shitting lava. Any suggestions on how to take this to minimize the sides while still controlling blood glucose? Is taking it after eating a possibility?

The very first time i took berberine i had the shits for a few days or so. Never got it again. Let your body adjust to it.

What was your protocol with it? Before meals, with meals, am/pm?

i took it right before meals, but i think as long as you take it sometime before and 2-3x a day, you will be good.

I just got back into training after a year off 1 month ago, and my bg was high, so i got a glucose monitor. First day i was at 106. Started berberine 2 weeks ago, cleaned up my diet a bit and just now tested at 96.

Yeah i haven’t seen you on the boards in a minute. 13 months is a decent layoff but you’ll definitely bounce back quickly and probably did some good for your joints/ligaments and overall health being off the sauce, growth and whatever else. I fell off for close to 2 years and still bounced back, took 5-6 months thought to feel right. Good to see you back & good luck

Yeah i haven’t seen you on the boards in a minute. 13 months is a decent layoff but you’ll definitely bounce back quickly and probably did some good for your joints/ligaments and overall health being off the sauce, growth and whatever else. Thank you bro. Ya, i had to focus on work and some other stuff, my dad died a couple months ago, was having relationship issues. Im with a chick who insists she doesn't even like me being in shape and hates that i use aas, so i thought fuck it, im not chasing pussy, who cares?

Dug myself into a hole, but there is always a way to dig out. At 40 years old, it's not quite as easy to do as when you're 30 or even 35, but i did it to myself and time to pay the piper.

You were on the old HCU board prior to D-Red getting popped, no?

Can i ask what your goal with berberine is? Obviously you are trying to lower your bg... but for weight loss purposes, better insulin sensitivity for muscle gains, etc?

Either way, i would also take ALA and/or chromium with meals as well- that way more nutrients are getting shuttled into muscles rather stored as fat/glucose, which will help get that bg number down.

Ive been pushing my HGH dosing and i plan on running 10/iu a day on my next blast but my BG starts getting too high at this dose. I just picked up some metformin XR 500 mg tabs as well I will try out soon. Even at 400mg at night of berberine, i do notice a small decrease in appetitie.

I haven't noticed an appetite decrease with berberine.

You may also try throwing in cinnamon extract, chromium, etc for nutrient shuttling.

If youre having bg issues, might be a good idea to go on keto or at least cut carbs to just before and after training. Keto will 100% reverse any insulin resistance you have.

Try doing this and reintroducing carbs back after you've gotten it under control, but i do think once you are hitting that 10iu+ gh dosage, you are entering no mans land where you are fucked without a sophisticated ancillary protocol.
