Default Air Squats

Bodyweight Squats has always been part of my life somewhere. Use to burn out with them after a light leg day, then as I got older and began putting less weight on my back, started relying on them more. After recent shoulder surgery I've been pretty limited on what I can do. Knowing that any squat is an all around bad ass exercise, I just thought to ask, anybody got a crazy personal best number of reps? I've heard some crazy numbers from the MMA/BJJ guys and wrestlers.

I've been doing air squats more lately, especially warming up before starting regular squats. I've never thought about how many I can do, but now I'm curious lol. Might give that a go next leg day and see.

At 61 I still squat once a week...this morning I did 3 triples with 275...I then did 3 sets of leg extensions followed by 50 non-stop air squats...my quads were shaking...felt great...

Not regular body squats, but I routinely extend a set by adding a half dozen to dozen old school sissy squats and really get those stretched fibers and build/maintain sweep

I do air squats after leg day. I do them while in the tanning bed to make time go by faster. Itís the stand up Tanner obviously. But the only difference is I do the one leg air squats with minimal balance issues........ Redrock

Default Air Squats

I'm gonna bust out a bunch soon. I'll post up an honest number. Not being able to put weight on my back right now has led me to wonder.....? Did some searching and the old school Lion"s Den Fighters where up near 1000 on a hardcore day, like the indoctrination. I get past 50 it's a crazy burn especially with assault bike super sets. 57 years old. USMC 83-87!!! Let's go old guys!
