Default Novolin R usage

Questions fellas. Itís been about 13 years since I last tried insulin. When I did I stuck with the pre/post workout routine. Seeing you can use Novolin up to three times a day, has anyone used it around just their 3 main meals?

Yes

Basic protocol whilst on a Lean Bulker:

10 units 20 minutes before a 100 grams carbs breakfast

5 to 10 units post workout / pre 20 minute cardio

Finish cardio hit post workout protein & carbs

Pre next meal 5 to 10 units based on carb intake

Pre dinner (pizza) 10 units

That’s a basic outline

Pre contest dropping carbs drop the slin

Get a glucose tester and monitor your blood sugar levels until you know how you are responding .... be smart be responsible using insulin is no room for a guessing game

ALWAYS HAVE FAST CARBS WITHIN YOUR REACH

I carry fig newtons and dried banana chips with me at all times in the event I go hypo which is very rare

Wouldn't it make more sense to do fasted cardio, THEN pin slin w/50g carbs + Protein pre lifting?

Why would you want an insulin spike and carbs just to burn for cardio when you could just be burning fat stores for cardio and fill up your glycogen while you're actually lifting?

Um no

No carbs itís post workout cardio no carbs but skin before the cardio

let me tell you a game changer for me has been getting novolin N from walmart and using a long acting

i used to haul around syringes and inject (at one time) up to 20iu with each meal


now i just do one shot every 12 hours , already for my weight up to past slin levels in 3 weeks - easier to eat clean with my job so iím about 250lb with abs


iím up to 40ius in 24hr - only doing 4ius growth but try long acting

i go low sometimes but itís just from not eating - with the R iíd go low at strange times and iíd crash a lot - not with the long

not sure what it was exactly but WALMART sells a novalin N which is long acting for $25/bottle - no script needed

insulin is a drug of you donít have access to you can die or go into a serious coma so itís made accessible to lower income folks this way


iím up to 250lbs with abs but i ran test/gh for 4 months then added slin - iím eating clean and using anything rice related for carbs

Iím using R but Dave Palumbo has mentioned the $25 Walmart N several times lately....I think Iím going to get some for a couple reasons the longer acting effects keep you more stable & itís more convenient than pinning throughout the day.
