Training with shoulder injury?

Hey guys, looking for some advice on upper body stuff with possible rotator or SLAP tear?

It's been bothering me for about a year, originally happened when my spotter wouldn't get the bar off me and made me grind out a rep. Left shoulder felt like it dislocated. I've been able to lift and its not getting any worse but also not getting any better. Took a few weeks off to see if it would help and the normal pain/discomfort went away but as soon as i did any pressing it was back to bothering me (popping, grinding, not intense pain but discomfort, hurts when i wake up).

Will probably be another year before I can get an MRI/surgery if its needed. (unless it just completely goes out).

Today tried flat bench, different grips widths. All seemed to feel like it was stretching the shoulder tendon.
Hammer strength incline, didnt really bother it.
Incline Dumbell flys -Didn't bother it until i was bringing dumbells down after set.
Tricep extensions - didn't seem to bother it.

Pretty much been doing same exercise rotation for years. 5/3/1 and a P/P/L routine.

Appreciate help, wanting to winter bulk but kinda questioning it now.

I have a partial tear in my rotator cuff. If you can manage the pain and aren’t scared of further damage, train away. My surgeon says my physical therapy is coming good, and I have been able to bench some. I can still pull 405lbs on the shoulder, but it bothers me when I sleep a little. He did say it may get better, or if I am too crazy with it it may snap off. We will see. We are kind of up in the air about it right now as surgery would really slow down things as recovery time would be pretty long. I do an entire list of rotator cuff rehab stuff real regularly.

I can’t use a straight bar for much of anything because it bothers my shoulders/elbows/wrists. I’ve been using dumbbells and not doing full ROM. It helped me out quite a bit…
