Subq test shots question

Anybody had any experience with lab test subq injections? I've done pharmaceutical test at about .3 ml with no problems. Did a .5ml shot with some lab test and have some swelling and redness still after 3 days, I'm feeling fine otherwise. Gear was from a reputable supplier here. I was thinking that maybe a higher BA could cause. I probably should have started smaller. Just running 250 mg cyp a week. Thanks for reading and any input or experience.

I wouldn’t take more than .25ml subq. I have test from pharm and if I go over it sometimes leaves a bump that stays 1-2 days
Just shoot with insulin pin IM. Lot more options for places to pin
