Deca and test cycle question

What's the opinion of deca 200mg with test E 400mg per week for 8 weeks just to get 5 or 10 lbs of muscle/strength?
Pros cons? Or better options?

Good to go.. I’ve personally never had any of the “deca sides” at that low of a dose. If cycling, I would run that cycle a couple weeks longer with an extra week of Test before a PCT. You’ve been a member here for ten years so I’m sure I’m safe in assuming you know your body (ie. keep an AI on hand if prone to any gyno).
Better options: that’s a personal preference and I’m not sure what your stats are. All I would say there is keep it simple and do not skimp on the diet. Push your caloric intake and dial it in instead of just letting the gear do the work. If your diet is off it will be nowhere close to optimal. This is where most fail imo.

Thanks brother. My BF is around 6% cardio is overloaded and having issue keeping strength and weight up. Sleep is not enough, diet is pretty clean. Just working too much, training too much and can't do anything about those things so... this was my option to try and enhance my physique a bit so I can reduce chances of injury in training etc.

If you plan to do that then you need to eat to support it.
Based on your post above you say you are not doing so.
I wouldn be worried about eating clean at 6% and wanting to put on 5-10lbs.
I dont think you will put on 10lbs of muscle with that cycle in 8 weeks.

sounfs like you’re about to really F it up unless you:

Eat more and dirtier

drop the cardio to 20 minutes post workout

and then make it it a 12 week protocol

train hard. Train heavy. Train slower.

All of the above bro’s no there shit and are spot on. Just want the best for you.
I had a problem with caloric intake during work with a 10+ hour manual labor job (hardscapes, concrete). Told my boss I’m taking 5 minutes every hour and not taking lunch or break. I drink some great shakes on top of 4-5 meals every work day. Can be hard… but sacrifices are necessary brother! 5 minutes is enough to slam 12 oz of chicken and two baked potatoes!!! lol
And 6% body fat?? Damn! What’s your stats if you don’t mind me asking?

That's a good 2nd or 3rd cycle I still only do 300mg of deca with 500mg of test

I had an IFBB pro (circa early 90’s) once tell me all he needed was 250 mg of Deca and he’d grow like crazy

Of course times and mentalities (dosages) have changed

In the past 2 years I’ve personally kept my Deca Dose about 150/200 mg a week

did the same with NPP for a long time actually on an interesting note using 75mg 2x a week and NPP got my nipples puffy and tender

when I switched to Deca it went away even at a higher dose

definitive good gear to so that was not the issue

just a different physiological reaction from the short ester to the long ester I guess

My first, and best cycle ever, was 500mg test enanthate/300mg deca/25mg dbol (1st 4 weeks). If your diet is "pretty clean," I'd say you're a bit over 6%, unless you're severely under-eating. A legit 6% could kick ass at any NPC show outside of national qualifiers.

Arguments aside, you need to increase your calories, regardless of gear selection. Also, I'd personally run the test/deca 12-16 weeks.

Sounds like a plan! I personally stay at 300mg of deca with 500mg test e over and over and it continues to work…I switch anabolic I like 300mg dhb currently or I’ll throw in like 375mg of mast with my test always at 500mg works really well…try to stay at 2iu of hgh too

A great moderate cycle. At 45, I only run light cycles and they yield amazing results. This is my favorite cycle with winny and proviron thrown in.

I don't like deca cause it sticks around in the body so long. I think just 400mg test by itself could do that for you
