Default Dumbass Question

I like to cook with butter.

Is that bad? For fat loss, etc?

Probably the dumbest question asked on these forums, ever, but - I know that the diet rules change a little bit when you're lifting weights and using AAS.

... I know shit about MACROS, obviously.

Please help,
PINKY

If it fits your macros you should be good.

Keto is all about eating fat.
Neither fat or carbs is the enemy, it just how you use it.

So if your diet allows the amount of fats then you should be good.

If butter is good vs other fats is a different discussion.
If you are using butter make sure its real good butter.

I agree with MK,..also there is always "dirty keto" and clean keto, but unless your diet is a low carb/keto you might want to chill out with the butter, but then again you may have good genetics ....and besides dietary cholesterol is only 20% diet and 80% genetics...hard to answer this accurately.

As long as your getting your daily limits on fats doesn't matter much where it comes from. Don't get to carried away for health reasons. I use butter all the time......................11

I like to cook with GHEE. It's basically purified concentrated butter with a higher smoke point. Love to fry eggs in it. Fat is crucial to growth. Just the right ones in moderation.

Yep ^ canola oil is high in omega 6's which are inflammatory vs omega 3's which are anti-inflammatory.
