Default How often??

Iím trying to figure out the right amount of training. I have a buddy who is huge but he works out every day.
I have another bud who only trains 3x weekly.
At my age 45, I donít want to over do it, but I also want to get the maximum gains especially since Iím blasting for fall bulking.

How often do you guys train? Do you switch it up occasionally?

Until end of high school four days a week. Since then three days a week push legs pull. If i do anything on other days its cardio or hit the bag. Or normal life stuff walking the beach, swimming, hiking.

Ive been doing this:
Chest shoulder tri 3x a week
Back bi forearms 3x a week
Legs 1x a week, all machines no squats
Throw in abs 2x a week
Cardio 40-50 minutes 4x a week

Test up to 500/wk, deca 250/wk. Inject once a week. been 3 weeks at these dose up from just trt Dose. I dont feel the effects from the increase dose yet, but its coming. I can see it though. I dont lift heavy.
Other than my shoulder killing me, i feel good and everyone thinking im on tren and var.
5í9 just about, weighing 214 as of yesterday. Usually 230 this time of year. Waist measured in 34Ē. No idea bf.

4 times a week (upper lower strength and hypertrophy setup) with a bicep day on Sat if i'm feeling frisky. I advice read this article https://workoutme.com/best-tricep-workout-for-mass before you start training.

7 days a week for me, but never more than 16 sets in a workout.In and out of gym usually less than 25 minutes, very high intensity, 53 years old
day 1/triceps
day 2/biceps
day 3/legs
day 4/shoulders
day 5/forearms (yes, forearms!!!)
day 6/chest
day 7/back

Similar age. I do 5days a week. Currently I do Pull/Push/Legs/Pull/Push.
