Ok so I got back from the hunting trip last night and I weigh 184. I drank so much fucking beer and barely drank water the whole trip so I am bloated as shit. I'm hoping to be 180-181 tomorrow morning. Today was bench day and I hit the following:

44x8
110x4
154x3
198x2
242x1
275x1
297x4

Last meet prep I hit 286x4 so this was a PR. I also had the worst shoulder pain going into this bench day that I'm surprised I hit a PR somehow.

I'm off until Thursday and it restarts my deadlift/squat peaking.

Today was deadlifts, lying leg curls and some lat pulldowns:

Deadlifts:

135x3
225x2
315x2
405x1
485x6 RPE 1
2x5 455 Cake Walk

Lying Leg Curls:
2x20 35lbs (single leg)
2x15 60lbs (single leg)
2x10 70lbs (singe leg)

Lat Pulldowns:

3x20 70lbs (slow reps with pauses at chest)

Ok so today was close grip bench, wide grip rows and face pulls.

Close grip bench:

45x12
95x6
135x3
4x6 175 w/ 1 sec paused
175x17 AMRAP (Way more in tank but elbows kept flaring)

Wide Grip Rows:
4x20 85lbs

Face Pulls w/ pauses:
3x15 90lbs

Today was boring ass high bar squats, 45 degree back raises, GHR on Lat Pulldowns and Ab Wheels. I did the following:

High Bar Squats:

45x6
135x5
225x3
275x1
315x1
350x6 RPE 4 or lower
315x6 Cake Walk

45 Degree Back Raises (First time doing them in forever):

135x5
3x10 155 (All sets were a joke)

GHR on Lat Pulldown:

3x5

Ab Wheel:

3x10

Ok so I decided to max out today on bench since Tuesday I wonít be able to make it to my competition bench and plates. My best PR on a commercial bench right before last meet was 315. Today I hit the following:

260x7 (Massive PRs)

Today is deadlift for my wife, she is about to destroy some volume PRs.

135x6
165x3
185 4x4
145 2x6

She also did a bunch of accessory work. Itís looking great because during last prep she only did 185 3x3

My wife:
45x6

95x2
105x1
115x1 RPE 8
3x7 85

She had to leave to pick up our son and friends from school. I did the following:

45x8
95x3
135x3
165x1
4x7 1 sec pause 195
195x13 RPE 5

Wide Grip Cable Rows (isolate last, pause at back)

4x20 80lbs RPE 6 or below

Face Pulls (1 sec pause)

3x15 100lbs RPE 8

All were paused:

120x1 RPE 8
3x8 90 RPE 7 or below

Tricep Pushdowns:

3x10 100lbs

Reverse Curls:
3x20 20lbs

Side Delt Raises:
3x20 5lbs

I also did some cardio and calves, nothing fancy.

Today was Spoto Press, some back accessory and a easy single up to 405 on squats with wraps to see if I want to use them in the meet. I did the following:

Spoto Press:

45x8
135x5
185x2
215x1
3x7 235
Didn't do the AMRAP due to shoulder and elbow overusage.

V Handle Cable Rows:

3x20 70lbs (Took it easy)

Behind the Neck Lat Pulldowns:

3x20 55lbs (took it easy)

Squats with wraps:

45x6
135x3
225x2
315x1
365x1
405x1 Felt like RPE 1-2.

This peaked my interest. When I donate blood it seems to take me back just a little. I donít have the stamina or the cardio.

Today is about to be a big deadlift day to determine my progress since my meet.

4 weeks out from my November meet I hit the following:

529/240kg for 7. Today I have:

534/242.5kg AMRAP. Iím hoping for 9-10!

Iím also doing a double with

446/202.5kg on Squats.

Iíll keep everyone updated!

Note to self:
Donít train after only 3 pancakes.

I hit 534/242.5kg for 7 which is a PR still so whatever.

I also hit the 446/202.5kg squat for a double at RPE 8 so Iím happy.

LOL saw the near pass out..thats never happened to me yet ..Of course i usually do 3 rm so my lungs can usually hold.. that was crazy man good job !!!!
