What does your training split look like? What volume are you at (sets/exercises/reps)? What intensity are you training at (are you training to failure every exercise/set)? How much water are you drinking daily? Did you just recently start lifting again after a long break from the gym?

Clearly you are doing too much work. If youíre starting back after a long layoff you should be gradually increasing work sets and intensity. Muscle memory is an amazing phenomena, be patient and let it run its course.

^^^^^ seriously great advice

Lets see:

Less is more

Spend more time at the dinner table and less time at the gym

Stimulate do not annihilate

Tear down, rest, recuperate, grow , repeat

I like injectable amino acids for recovery and training

Maybe you need a little GH protocol ?

Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body....HOWEVER

Glutamine will actually cause a spike in ammonia and jeopardize recovery. This is known in the medical field for treating catabolic patients thereby 'glutamine' is avoided. Such same for amino Leucine

AKG however is the same carbon skeleton and acts as an ammonia scavenger. Now your getting two benefits and a superior nutrient.

If you add OKG with AKG you will be blasting into a much better recovery zone.

The glutamine thing was a decade ago and studies sucked at that time...or at least what information that was FIRST sucked and people still believe it.

Always search for the superior form for a desired effect

Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate and Ornithine Alpha-Ketoglutarate ... a recommended 2-4 grams per meal is given .. in order to maximize its anabolic and anti-catobolic effects. Its a bit costly but provides great benefits.

Aside from that.. to help spare your glutamine storage you can simply increase the consumption of milk. I use to drink a gallon about a day which I believe strongly helped me in preserving BCA and increase recovery rate. Milk is high in BCA...which also provide the building materials for Alanine and Glutamine.

BCA are also used up during muscle contractions... so its a great pre and post quickie drink.

HOWEVER,, if your drinking a specific blend protein (one with high amount of di and tri peptides ) drink it with just water. Since its blend is SUPPOSE to activate specific receptors for specific results when protein is in a specific chains it also carries information and has pre determined roles.

You dont want to offset the receptors with imbalanced available protein.

Most Amino Acids and some combinations work best on an empty stomach in the middle of the night on your pee break when it will be the only protein information fed for recovery and to the brain... now you have both thing most needed - quality protein and sleep = recovery and growth
